Do you want to read your bible? Don’t feel like you have time? Here are some suggestions.

Do you want to read your bible? Don’t feel like you have time? Here are some suggestions. Do you get a break? How about reading one chapter a day on your break? Maybe get up fifteen minutes early to read that one chapter. Or just before going to bed read one chapter. We are all guilty of scrolling on our phones or computers looking at Facebook, Instagram, twitter, YouTube, or some social media site. Maybe turn off the TV for a few minutes? The idea is to make the time. It all comes down to priorities. One chapter a day equals approximately twelve books give or take in a year. There are sixty six books in all. Doesn’t sound like a lot, but any reading is better than no reading. It has been about two years since I decided to start my day reading my bible. I find this is the best way to start my day. I get up early, go to work early, and sit in the car and read. Anywhere from thirty to forty five minutes a day minimum. It might be only two or three chapters a day, but a little progress is progress. I started reading the bible over again back in November 2023 with Genesis. I am currently reading Nehemiah. I do other bible studies, but this is my bare minimum per day. If I don’t get this in during the normal time frame I get it in sometime during the day. This is a priority I have set. I have recently decided that I want to start a second reading session for the day. Minimum of one chapter per day starting with the New Testament book of Matthew and working my way to the book of Revelations. So, want to join me in this reading? I will be publishing one chapter per day starting with Matthew Chapter 1 on Monday April 29, 2024. Reading one Chapter per day it will take approximately twenty eight days to read the book of Matthew. I use the King James Version of the bible, but you can go to bible.com to read another translations. I caution on other translations as some words like repent in the King James bible gets changed to regret in another translation. Repent is a stronger word that regret. Pray always for God to grant you wisdom, knowledge, and understanding as is his will. Reading the Bible is best when you have that relationship with God. If don’t have that relationship with God today is the day. Tomorrow might be too late. God Bless you. Faith Is Our Focus
